Development Consulting Services

MCM is nationally recognized for its expertise in historic tax credit redevelopment. Through our Development Consulting Services, we share our deep understanding and extensive experience working with the Federal Historic Tax Credit (HTC) program and the many different State Historic Tax Credit programs to assist our developer and not-for-profit clients, using historic tax credit equity to subsidize up to 45% of the renovation costs of their historic buildings. MCM also brings a network of New Market Tax Credit opportunities to eligible projects.

In addition to providing HTC program guidance, we assist in securing construction and bridge financing, grant solicitations, tax credit equity investments, required entitlements, budget and schedule management, preservation consulting through our unique partnership with HP Group, LLC., and asset management services.

MCM has completed over $4.5 billion in development and construction since its inception including Hinkle Fieldhouse at Butler University, the Boesel Conservatory of Music at Baldwin Wallace University, and the Joseph McCullough Center for Visual Arts at the Cleveland Institute of Art. Other notable clients include Bedrock Real Estate Services, Muskingum University, Wittenberg University, Nottingham Spirk, Cleveland Clinic, University Hospitals, Allegheny Health Network, and Case Western Reserve University.

MCM currently provides development consulting services for Wittenberg University, Baldwin Wallace University, and Muskingum University in Ohio, and for various developers throughout Ohio, Michigan, and Missouri.
